We offer 12 strains of kratom. In this blog post, we will go over some of the applications that each strain is used for. Hopefully, by the end of this guide, you'll have a better idea which strain is suitable for your particular purpose.

Strain Naming

There are two bits of information that each strain name gives. First, is the color of the veins that make up the leaf. We sell kratom leaves with red, green, white, and yellow veins. The second bit of information is the region in which the leaf was grown. We sell kratom from 8 different regions. Please note that not all regions are available in all of the colors. When we discuss the regions below, we will include which colors are available from that area.

White Vein

White vein kratom is known to be stimulating and for contributing to a positive mood. It is often used in place of coffee for a morning pick-me-up. Users also report increased concentration and motivation for the day's work.

Red Vein

In contrast to the white vein, red vein kratom is associated with a relaxing effect and producing an overall state of well-being. It has been used by people with trouble sleeping as a way to relax their mind and ease the transition to sleep.

Green Vein

Green-vein kratom combines the qualities of the previous two colors. It provides an increase in concentration and alertness without the energy level of white-veined. It also provides a state of well-being or calm without the sedative effects of the red vein. Green does neither of these things as well as the white or red that it replaces, but if the desired goal is to combine those effects, then it does so exceptionally well.

Yellow Vietnam

This strain gets its unique color from a special drying and fermenting process. That process also allows the resulting power to have significantly more alkaloids than other drying methods. For that reason, yellow Vietnam is a bit like a more powerful version of green-veined kratom. It provides a well-rounded experience, but with more kick because of the special process.

Maeng Da (Red, Green, White)

Maeng Da is a region in Thailand where this family of strain is grown. Maeng Da kratom is one of the most popular strains because it is generally regarded as one of the most potent. Although the color chosen will tip the scales in one direction or the other, Maeng Da is known for providing stimulation while also allowing for a relaxed and peaceful mind.

Borneo (Red, Green, White)

Borneo kratom is known for its strong sedative effect. The makes the red Borneo kratom variety the most commonly used out of this region. The green and white varieties may be used if their unique qualities are appealing, but the alkaloid content from this region will push them more towards the sedation aspect and away from energy production.

Red Horned

Horned kratom also comes from Borneo, but is more similar in qualities to kratom from the Maeng Da region. If you like Maeng Da, it may be worth trying both to see which you prefer, or alternating to reduce the buildup of tolerance to any one particular strain.

Red Bali

Like all red veined varieties, red Bali kratom is used for its sedation properties. Red Bali is known as one of the most potent strains of kratom for relaxation and sedation. It is a favorite among users looking for a calming, stress-free effect.

Hulu ( Red, White)

This strain comes from the Hulu forest near the Malaysian border. It is known to give a more potent energy boost than other strains. Because of this quality, white Hulu is often used in place of coffee when a pick me up without the crash later is needed.

Green Malay

Grown in Malaysia, this strain is known for its long-lasting boosts to focus and concentration. Like all green veined varieties, the pick-me-up won't be as strong as a white leaf but this strain will deliver on the motivational front.
